The following statement is from the Penn State Alumni Association about Haiti:
Sources estimate that roughly a third of Haiti’s population (about 3 million people) have been affected by a magnitude‐7 earthquake, which struck just before 5 p.m. on Tuesday near Port‐au‐Prince, the nation’s capital.
